As an IT Support Intern, you will provide hands-on technical support for employees while approaching every task with an automation-first and AI-curious mindset. This role is ideal for a student or early-career technologist who enjoys helping people, learning how enterprise IT operates at scale, and continuously looking for opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate repetitive work.
In addition to supporting end users, you will collaborate with experienced IT engineers to identify patterns in support requests, document workflows, and propose improvements using automation, self-service, or AI-assisted tools. You will gain exposure to endpoint management, identity and access workflows, collaboration platforms, and onsite AV and event support, while contributing ideas that help scale IT operations more efficiently.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, AMER IT Operations.
Responsibility
Provide first-level IT support for end users, troubleshooting issues with laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, and productivity tools
Support device setup, onboarding/offboarding, inventory tracking, and basic asset management
Assist with identity, access, and application support (login issues, MFA, VPN, collaboration tools) following security standards
Provide onsite AV and event support, including meeting room setup, testing, troubleshooting, and live assistance during meetings or events
Help maintain and support office technology such as conference room systems, displays, peripherals, and shared devices
Identify recurring issues and support patterns, documenting solutions and proposing improvements through automation, self-service, or AI-assisted workflows
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to reduce manual support effort
Collaborate with senior IT engineers to pilot or improve automation, monitoring, and process standardization initiatives

Basic
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments
Experience with common workplace tools (email, collaboration platforms, video conferencing)
Fluent in English
Preferred
Strong customer service mindset with clear communication skills
Curiosity about automation, AI, and process improvement, with a willingness to learn and experiment
Previous internship, academic, or part-time experience in IT support or helpdesk environments
Exposure to endpoint management, identity systems, or collaboration platforms
Interest in automation, scripting, AI-assisted tools, or workflow optimization
Familiarity with basic scripting (Python, Bash) or low-code/no-code tools
Interest in AV systems, event support, and workplace technology
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
