As a Content Writer, you are a crucial contributor responsible for developing, editing, and managing comprehensive training and knowledge documentation. You bridge the gap between technical knowledge and practical application, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals through collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and leaders. You are focused on creating high-quality instructional materials and operational guides that adhere to corporate standards and promote knowledge sharing across the workforce. You play a pivotal role in empowering employees to perform efficiently, driving organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Learning and Development Program Manager.
Responsibility
Develop training curricula, including knowledge base articles, operational guides, and learning components such as training agendas and assessments
Create instructional materials, including training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and testing procedures
Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and leadership to ensure content aligns withthe learning objective
Coordinate with Training and Documentation Leads to maintain consistency in tone, structure, and adherence to corporate standards
Develop engaging and effective e-learning materials using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or a similar platform
Support the conversion of classroom training into interactive online formats aligned with adult learning principles
Manage training assets, including content repositories and knowledge management systems
Regularly review and update content to ensure its relevance and alignment with current business needs
Act as a point of contact for documentation-related issues and provide continuous feedback on content effectiveness
Utilize support tools and resources necessary for effective content creation, including Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Basic
5+ years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or training content development
Experience with Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace/G Suite
Fluent in verbal and written English with a high proficiency level
Experience maintaining confidentiality of information
Preferred
University studies in instructional technology, technical writing, or related fields
Demonstrated experience with e-learning platforms such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or H5P
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
Knowledge of content creation best practices and adult learning principles
Mentoring or Trainer experience
Proficiency in desktop computers, IT essentials, and content management systems
Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
Full schedule flexibility, including weekends
Strong customer service skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
