As the Threat Intelligence Sr Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of skilled Threat Intelligence Analysts, defining and driving the strategic vision for threat intelligence within Docusign. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire threat intelligence lifecycle, from collection and analysis to the dissemination of actionable intelligence products that directly enhance Docusign's security posture. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership acumen, and excellent communication skills to influence decision-making across various security and business functions. You will specifically focus on understanding and integrating intelligence related to AI-driven threats and defenses.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Sr. Director of Security Operations.
Responsibility
Define and champion a compelling product vision and strategy for Docusign's threat intelligence capabilities, aligning with the overall Global Security Office strategy and evolving business needs including developing strategies to address threats leveraging Artificial Intelligence and incorporating AI-driven defense mechanisms into intelligence products
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Threat Intelligence Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation
Plan team strategy, resource allocation, and hiring to support Docusign's growth and evolving security requirements, with a focus on developing expertise in AI-related threat intelligence
Oversee the full lifecycle of threat intelligence, including collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of relevant threat information
Ensure the team produces timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence, with a specific focus on identifying and analyzing AI-driven attack vectors and capabilities
Drive proactive research to anticipate and mitigate potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities that target Docusign, its customers, and its supply chain including researching how adversaries are using AI to enhance their TTPs
Develop and maintain threat profiles for key adversaries, including their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), motivations, and capabilities (leveraging frameworks like MITRE ATTamp;CK, Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model), with a particular emphasis on AI-enhanced techniques
Ensure the effective integration of threat intelligence into Docusign's security operations, including detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and red team activities involving providing intelligence on AI-driven threats to inform defensive strategies and detection rules
Develop and deliver threat briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
Collaborate closely with Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Security Architecture, and other internal teams to provide additional insights during security investigations, enhance detection capabilities, and improve overall security controls including working with teams to understand how AI is being used in Docusign's environment and how it might be targeted by adversaries
Participate in threat intelligence sharing initiatives with external partners and industry peers, with a focus on sharing information about AI-driven threats and defenses
Oversee the development and maintenance of threat intelligence platforms (e.g., MISP, OpenCTI) and drive the automation of common threat intelligence tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness including exploring and implementing tools and techniques for analyzing and processing AI-related threat data
Assess and review intelligence requirements, identify intelligence gaps, and propose new tools and research projects to fill them continuously
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the threat intelligence program, including its ability to address AI-driven threats
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $177,900.00 - $287,425.00 base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $170,900.00 - $241,400.00 base salary
