What you'll do

In the position of a Sr. Director of Application Product Management, you will lead the Product Management team for a strategic portfolio of business applications. You will be responsible for understanding the end-to-end process lifecycle, analyzing complex business problems, and driving solutions that achieve automation and autonomous experiences for our business functions and customers.

You will lead a team of technology product experts and you will collaborate with Docusign’s business operations teams and cross-functional enterprise teams to create a product vision and deliver world-class, at-scale applications that tie the end-to-end experience. The success of the candidate is based on the understanding of industry best practices, and having the ability to translate the business needs into technical requirements amp; solutions that delight our internal customers.

This position is a people manager role reporting to Vice President, Applications Product Management.

Responsibility

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the business and partner teams - Develop and execute the strategic business plan for IT Application products including ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications that align with company goals (Revenue growth, Operational efficiencies, Churn reduction)

  • Develop product vision and innovative approaches for new and existing customer-facing and internal operations

  • Understand, anticipate business needs and translate them into IT product roadmap

  • Deliver business results and drive measurable impact to business metrics

  • Manage various technology initiatives concurrently, lead multiple resources to ensure successful completion of operational technology projects

  • Drive conversations with engineering teams and cross functional stakeholders

  • Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to see an issue through to complete resolution.

  • Follow trends in technology and new solutions that should be further explored

  • Represent the enterprise with technology vendors

  • Build and foster high-performing agile teams, including working with outsourced vendors

  • Leverage AI skills and tools to enhance product management processes, including predictive analytics for key IT domains, intelligent automation for operations workflows, and data-driven decision-making for product roadmap development

  • Ensure organization design and team are in place to deliver against plans

  • Ensure strong operational processes are in place to deliver across all areas of responsibility

  • Create an environment for innovation connected to growth, customer retention, upsell, and efficiency levers

  • Responsible for integrating AI technologies into enterprise workflows to drive measurable business outcomes, including process automation, predictive analytics, and decision support

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Information Systems
  • 15+ years expertise implementing business applications in high technology/subscription software organizations

Preferred

  • Strategic leadership to conceive and lead transformations in partnership with senior stakeholders
  • Expertise managing senior and experienced product leaders and has worked in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise system implementations for global companies
  • Expertise with key IT domains and business processes. Ex. ERP, CRM, Partner Integration Collaboration, Case
  • Management Systems, Customer Success Platforms, Knowledge Management Systems, and Adoption solutions
  • Leadership in implementing large-scale programs with a Product Management mindset in an agile scrum-based model for process and systems rollout, adoption and maintenance
  • Demonstrated success in integrating AI technologies into enterprise workflows to achieve quantifiable business results

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $233,300.00 - $373,525.00 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
