As a Software Engineer in the Docusign Agreement Platform team, you will be responsible for building foundational tools and services of our next-generation agreement platform. Your solutions will be used by multiple Docusign product teams, partners and customers.
The Agreement Models team builds schema-driven SaaS products to scale to a wide range of customers’ needs, and maintains an open-source schema language and runtime. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with team members, solve challenging problems using modern technologies, and learn best practices in software development and product engineering.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering
Responsibility
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with guidance from senior engineers
Participate in the design and development of microservices and shared libraries
Collaborate with team members and product managers to gather requirements and refine designs
Contribute to delivering engaging user experiences as part of an agile development team
Assist with troubleshooting and fixing production issues as needed
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic
Experience with programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
Experience with modern software development practices (e.g., version control, testing)
Preferred
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment
Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or similar
Understanding of RESTful APIs or web service development
Basic knowledge of data modeling or schema languages (e.g., JSON Schema, Concerto)
Familiarity with cloud-based development and microservices architecture
Experience with agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD)
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $94,600.00 - $137,875.00 base salary
