What you'll do

As the Director of Technical Program Management for the eSignature/B2I organization, you will be a strategic leader and a trusted partner to the GVPs of Product and Engineering. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of 10-12 Technical Program Managers, driving the development and execution of our eSignature product strategy.

 

By defining and scaling program management best practices, you'll ensure seamless collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams. Your expertise will be crucial in managing large, complex programs, resolving cross-functional issues, and providing clear communication to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.

 

Ultimately, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, developing your team's talent, and ensuring our programs meet key business objectives. You will lead the TPM team for the B2I organization, working closely with the B2I GVPs of Product and Engineering. In this capacity, you'll serve as a direct extension of their leadership, helping them strategically plan and operationalize the eSignature business, align stakeholders, and ensure the successful, timely execution of all initiatives.

 

This position is a people manager role reporting to the VP, Technology Development & Operations.

 

Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10-12 Technical/Program Managers for the eSignature product vertical

  • Proven ability to build and lead high performing technical program management teams or similar functions, with a strong track record of change management success

  • Manage large, complex organizations and implementing programs or initiatives across multiple product initiatives

  • Collaborate with the GVPs of Product & Engineering to define and implement program management and operational processes and be their trusted partner, ensuring the strategic planning and successful execution of all programs for the eSignature business

  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights and recommendations on resource allocation, project prioritization, and risk mitigation

  • Define and drive the eSignature technical program management strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the broader organizational goals and product vision

  • Establish and scale best practices for program management, including new processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and delivery

  • Drive continuous improvement in program delivery, from ideation to launch, by analyzing performance metrics and implementing data-driven solutions

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and seamless program execution

  • Act as the primary communication channel for eSignature's programs, providing clear, concise, and timely updates to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership

  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability, ensuring all teams are aligned on goals, timelines, and dependencies

  • Resolve complex cross-functional issues and conflicts, ensuring programs stay on track and that teams are empowered to move forward effectively

  • Mentor and coach your team of TPMs, helping them grow in their careers, develop their skills, and take on new challenges

  • Manage team performance and capacity planning, ensuring resources (Compute/Storage/AI/HC) are allocated effectively to meet business needs

  • Leverage your excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills to define strategy, drive organizational change, and solve problems holistically

  • Develop teams, tools, and methods to improve our effectiveness and align on key company-level initiatives

  • Lead and manage the execution of cross-functional programs across Engineering, Product, and other teams

  • Define success metrics, manage stakeholder alignment, and continuously improve our processes in a scaled agile environment to maintain clarity and momentum

  • Nurture and grow our Technical Program Manager (TPgM) community by establishing best practices and helping to build a strong talent pipeline

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management (TPM)

  • Experience in both SaaS and enterprise environments

  • Experience using tools like SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, and AWS and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView

  • Experience with data warehousing solutions like Teradata, Redshift, and Google BigQuery, along with solid SQL skills

  • Experience with project management methodologies, particularly Agile, and tools like JIRA and Clarity PPM,

  • Proven track record of directly managing complex, multi-year programs from inception through delivery.

Preferred

  • Experience leading teams of 10 – 15 Program Managers or Scrum teams

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, including executives

  • Proven success driving cross-functional programs from planning to execution

  • Knowledge of agile program frameworks and delivery in complex environments

  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com)

  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a desire to contribute directly to program deliverables and outcomes

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $193,100.00 - $286,500.00 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
