As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Developer, you'll be instrumental in shaping how developers perceive and interact with the Docusign platform. This isn't just about marketing; it's about deeply understanding the developer journey, identifying pain points, and empowering them to build innovative solutions on our platform. You'll own product messaging and positioning specifically for our developer tools and APIs, working hand-in-hand with demand generation to create impactful content that drives adoption and engagement.
A critical aspect of this role is collaborating with our Community and Developer Experience teams to ensure a streamlined, friction-free, and delightful developer journey from discovery to integration. This includes ongoing persona development to ensure we're targeting the right kinds of builders in the right communities, with authentic and relevant messaging. While your primary focus is on the developer audience, you will also influence broader Docusign platform messaging to ensure developer value and capabilities are effectively integrated and highlighted where relevant. You'll enable our Sales teams with developer-centric content and tools, and work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and senior leadership to drive clarity and action in a fast-evolving environment. This is a pivotal role with high visibility and immense opportunity to influence Docusign's evolution into a platform-first company.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Developer and Community Marketing.
Responsibility
Define and articulate the core positioning, messaging, and value propositions of the Docusign platform across all assets (especially developers.docusign.com) for technical audiences - directly to developers, partners, buyers
Research, refine and educate continuously on developer personas to ensure our messaging, content, and channel strategies effectively reach and resonate with target developer communities
Partner with other product marketing teams to integrate developer value propositions and capabilities into overall Docusign platform messaging, ensuring consistency and relevance
Create, lead, manage, and measure product marketing and lead generation initiatives that showcase the value of Docusign's IAM platform and capabilities to target developer segments
Partner with Demand Generation and Growth Marketing to define market segmentation and campaign strategies
Lead the creation of high-impact technical messaging and assets for execution
Work with Business Development to ensure key ecosystem partners have the necessary messaging, content, and tools to be successful channel partners Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure developer-centric content, tools, and other product marketing assets are effectively deployed and utilized by the field
Support strategic customer and internal events (e.g., developer conferences, hackathons, sales meetings) by owning the development of technical presentations, sessions, and training
Collaborate deeply with Product Management to ensure new developer products and functionality are effectively featured, packaged, priced, launched, and communicated
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
