What you'll do

As an Enablement Consultant - Industrial Designer on the Enablement team, you will assist in the design and development of engaging and effective field-facing content. You will work closely with senior instructional designers and subject matter experts to apply established design standards, contributing to the team's shared goals and objectives.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Enablement Content.

 

Responsibility 

  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to create course materials
  • Develop and build course materials using a variety of authoring and media tools
  • Apply adult learning principles and the ADDIE model to the creation of all training materials
  • Assist in defining course objectives, requirements, and assessment criteria in partnership with stakeholders
  • Support instructional design projects to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner
  • Manage your assigned projects to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively
  • Receive and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve training materials

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • A basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models like ADDIE
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and manage deadlines
  • Experience with one or more content creation tools, such as: Articulate Rise or Storyline, Camtasia or Adobe, Premiere Pro or Vyond or a similar animation tool 
  • Familiarity with AI tools to help in content creation, course structure, and creating coaching prompts, such as: Google Gemini, Google Vids and NotebookLM
  • Exposure to working with subject matter experts to develop content

Preferred 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • A portfolio of instructional design work (e.g., e-learning modules, job aids, videos)
  • Prior internship or experience in a corporate training or enablement environment
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Skilljar, Highspot, or Seismic
  • A passion for learning new technologies and creative design approaches

Wage Transparency

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
