What you'll do

As a Commercial Sales Manager - France, you will identify new customers, creative ways to drive more businesses to purchase & utilise Docusign’s diverse solution suite. This position is a people manager, reporting to the AVP of Commercial Sales.

Responsibility

  • Manage and lead a French Account Executive sales team
  • Develop and execute upgrade and renewal processes and strategies, and ensure compliance to internal data management and reporting including use of Salesforce.com
  • Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
  • Recommend and implement improvements to reach sales goals
  • Coach salespeople to develop their sales skills including vertical market management, forecasting, prospecting within account base, negotiations, and other necessary skills; while maintaining individual accountability to goals
  • Maintain and protect Docusign by hiring culturally aligned team members and leading by example
  • Contribute in complex negotiations and the closing of new business, including appropriate use of Senior Sales and Commercial Executives to enhance results
  • Work with each AE to develop and implement vertical-wide business and sales plans to achieve sales quota
  • Ensure the team effectively uses sales tools and systems consistently and in alignment with Rules of Engagement
  • Communicate and prioritize product and business needs from the field to appropriate corporate departments
  • Identify and support opportunities for the training and professional development of your team
  • Operate well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Software sales experience in both an individual contributor and management role
  • Track record of successfully managing high performing software sales teams
  • Fluent in French and English


Preferred

  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Attracting, retaining, and developing high performing, high potential talent through assessing, selecting, onboarding, coaching, and developing
  • Managing multi-tiered customer relationships; demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners across Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Business Development and Channels to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy
  • SaaS based document workflow application experience
  • Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities
  • Steadfast focus on customer success
  • Competitive, optimistic, strong work ethic, humility, and excellent communication skills

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Illinois and Colorado: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
